MARCH WINNER - Jeff Gaines, Pacific, Missouri
Jeff hooked into a Large Mouth Bass that weighed in at 6 lbs/ 1oz, and
measured 22” in length. Jeff is a long time customer of Purina Mills and feeds
AquaMax™ fish food regularly to his fish in his private pond. “I toss them a scoop everyday, and that helps them to grow big,” states Jeff. Jeff gets his AquaMax™ Fish Food from Dan Diehl, owner of the Fenton Feed Mill at 412 Water Street in Fenton, MO.
APRIL WINNER – Zay Ridgle, Murchison, Texas.
Young Zay (10 years old) hooked into a Large Mouth Bass that tipped the scales a tad over 9 pounds, and measured 24.25” in length. Zay is the son of Pam and Joey Ridgle, who are long time customers of Purina Mills dealer–Scott’s Crossing Feed Store.
MAY WINNER - Conner Bedrich, Tomball, Texas.
Connor hustled and wrangled this monster Large Mouth Bass that weighed in at 10 lbs and measured just at 22” in length. Connor and avid fisherman with his friends and family, frequents the family lake in Austin Co. Texas. Connor prefers a plug bait hook them hard.
JUNE WINNER - Chuck Gstohl, Conroe, Texas.
Chuck reeled in a whopper Large Mouth Bass that weighed in at 9 lbs/ 10 oz, and measured over 26” in length. Chuck frequents the Lake Conroe and likes to hook them on a Zoom Trick Worm- Carolina Rig. Chuck and Conroe Feeders Supply at 100 S. Main, in the heart of Conroe.
JULY WINNER - Natalie Martin, Ben Wheeler, Texas.
Natalie is an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoys bass fishing on nearby Van Zandt Lake. She lured a lunker to the bait and pulled in a very nice large mouth weighing in at a hefty 10.2 LBS. This aquatic giant measured over 24 inches in length. Natalie shares her trophy with Scott’s Crossing Feed Store.
AUGUST WINNER- Nick Leppert , Grafton, Ohio.
Nick likes to fish all types of waters. He recently landed a good looking 7 lbs + large mouth bass. Nick shops at a local Purina Dealer-Town & Country and feeds his fish daily by hand. Nice job raising and catching those fish Nick!
SEPTEMBER WINNER - Chad Hicks, Waxahachie, Texas.
Chad is an avid fisherman and manages several ponds on his in-laws’ ranch. He actively feeds catfish & bluegills and is getting into feeding bass. This trophy winning large mouth bass weighing in at 13 lbs. 8 oz. was caught by David Walker, a friend of the family. David caught it on a watermelon worm and it measured a whopping 31+ inches long!
OCTOBER WINNER- Nick Truog, West Plains, Missouri
Nick raises fish in his own pond, and feeds them Purina Mills AquaMax on the average of two times per day. Those fish eat a lot and gave Nick the opportunity to land a 6.5 LB Large Mouth Bass. Nick is a frequent customer of the Richards Brothers in West Plains, MO.
NOVEMBER WINNER - Phillip Beard, Bryan, Texas
Phil is the proud owner of his own private lake, and now the a trophy of his prize catch- a 9 lb, 22 inch largemouth bass. Phil is a regular at Brazos Feed Supply- in Waco, TX.
DECEMBER WINNER - Chris Farmer, Richland, Texas
Chris likes to fish her pond on a regular basis. Why, because every so often a big old bass weighing in at 10.6 lbs gets on her hook. Who would not enjoy that?
